Every two years, the whole school comes together to produce an exciting and diverse variety show, at a professional theatre. Roynon shows are big events, with all students, from tinies to adults invited to take part. Our shows regularly attract an audience of about 1500 people, with a cast of several hundred, with approximately 700 costumes & pairs of shoes! Money raised by ticket and programme sales, goes to local charities- in 2012 & 2014, our shows raised over £8000 for the Piam Brown Children’s Oncology Ward at Southampton General Hospital, & in 2016, over £4000 for Kids Cancer Charity, in memory of our very own Abby Randall.
We also present an annual Nutcracker ballet, starring our senior students- a professional standard production, danced in a professional theatre, with stunning costumes & choreography. A fabulous way to kick-start the Christmas season, & because it is an abridged version of the world-famous classic, it is a perfect introduction to ballet for small children.

We also offer exciting workshops with major dance companies- we have welcomed welcomed the English National Ballet & Ballet Rambert to the studios for several workshops, as well as performers from visiting national touring productions!
Our students regularly appear in professional pantomimes & performances at theatres around the region, & we are delighted that students regularly appear with the English Youth Ballet.
Talented students are offered the chance to compete in festivals & competitions. In 2017, we were delighted to record a record sweep of scores & placings in local festivals, as well as being invited to perform our Red Cross competition piece at the Grand Finals of DMYM at the O2 in London. We are also thrilled to have an All England ballet gold medal winner in our midst.
